Why we started again

This isn't our first go at it. Years ago we ran a pet retail business, learned a great deal about what dog owners actually want, and eventually stepped away. Waggy Tails is the version we wanted to build the first time round — smaller, more honest, and focused on natural treats rather than trying to stock everything.

The name is the point. It's a kitchen, not a warehouse. Stock arrives in bulk and we split it down ourselves into packs that suit a normal dog: a 100g bag of rabbit ears rather than a kilo, a single pig ear rather than a box of forty.

What we sell, and what we don't

Naturally air-dried chews, single ingredient wherever possible, plus a small range of toppers — salmon oil, bone broth, goat milk and pumpkin powder. No cooked biscuits, no cereal-based treats, no rawhide.

We describe our treats as naturally air dried, because that's exactly what they are. We'd rather say nothing than put a claim on a label we can't stand behind.

Every bag is labelled the day it's packed, so you know how long it's been sitting around. Which is usually not long.

The stall

We started on a market stall and we're still there — baskets of chews, prices chalked on a board, and dogs dragging their owners over for a sniff. It's still the best part of the week, and it's where the range gets tested. If a treat doesn't move on the stall, it doesn't stay in the catalogue.

Our ambassadors

Rather than paying for adverts, we send treats to a small group of dogs and let their owners tell it straight. Each ambassador gets a welcome pack, a free gift with every order and a code to share. There's no obligation to buy anything.
